Are the Bees Going to Make it?

So I'm getting a little concerned with hive #2 or Kashyyyk as it known by some. There has been a lot of dead bees outside the front entrance since the winter has started.  Hive #1 or Coruscant  has a few dead bees out front but nothing compared to #2. [caption id="attachment_603" align="aligncenter" width="600" caption="dead bees"][/caption] I checked in the hive a few weeks ago before I treated with Oxalic acid and the population seemed robust and active. Not really knowing how much honey was left, a dry sugar or Mountain Camp feeding was put in place. Check out Mudsong's bee blog to see a video of the process. The Quilt box seems to be working well, the moisture is rising up through the wood chips and condensing on the inner cover.  Hive #1 has quite a bit more condensation than #2 so that means that there is less bees in #2.
